27 October 2011, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – For four weeks,
fifteen people experienced a journey towards better health through
Dr. Hans Diehl’s CHIP program. Held at the Adventist Community
Health Centre (also known as ACC) led by Jane Yap, Malaysia CHIP
Director, the program highlighted positive lifestyle change through
promoting CHIP diet, exercise, cooking demos, food exhibits, and
video presentations by Dr. Hans Diehl, the CHIP founder.
“I thought as an Adventist I am already doing the right
thing, health-wise, but attending this CHIP made me realized that I
actually do not know much. This program has given me a totally new
insight about how to manage my life and health better,” says Lim
Hoong Fatt, a CHIP “hall of famer” who experienced dramatic change
in his Blood Pressure, Cholesterol level, Blood Sugar, among other
things.
Alex Rajakumar, 58, was convinced that by following the
CHIP lifestyle has given him a new leash of life as he experienced
positive changes in his blood sugar, reduced his blood pressure and
his cholesterol by not ingesting medications.
Bernard Goh, a 50 year old father of 2 received an
award for clocking in the most steps throughout the program. His
exercise regime has allowed him to walk 643,195 equivalent to 89
hours and has experienced tremendous drop in his body weight, Blood
Pressure and cholesterol!
The atmosphere during the CHIP graduation was
overwhelmingly positive. The CHIP graduates, also known as
“CHIPPERS,” together with their family members enjoyed a wholesome
meal and fellowship together and were committed to continue with the
CHIP lifestyle. Currently they have just joined the 50,000+ CHIP
family alumni all throughout the world!
A big thank you to Peninsular Malaysia Mission of the
Seventh Day Adventist, ACC Staff and to all the CHIPPERS’ family for
the great support and encouragement!
