As part of the preparation for the opening of Klang
Adventist Community Health Centre in collaboration with the Health
Promotion Board Malaysia, a community health expo was conducted in
Taman Chiu Ling Flats in Pandamaran Klang. The event was led by 8
Medical Missionaries who are currently under training at the
Adventist Community Health Centre (ACC) in Cheras, in collaboration
with Klang Indian group health team led by Ms. Florence Devany; they
worked tirelessly serving the people in the community through BMI &
Fat analysis, glucose check, Blood Pressure screening, 3-minute step
test and Health Counselling. A display of the NEWSTART exhibit was
also seen and a total of 105 individuals consisting of Chinese,
Malays & Indians attended and benefited from the event.
