“Joy to the World”, ACC’s Open House for the
Community & the Needy (25 December 2011)

The Adventist Community Health Centre opened its doors to
celebrate Christmas with the community.
The ACC team gathered to prepare the delicious and
nutritious dishes and gifts early Christmas morning, by noon time
everything was ready to receive the guests, that in this case, where
the most needy from the community.

The place was filled with people who enjoyed the food and while
eating the UNAI (Adventist University of Indonesia) Chorale sang
songs of Christmas cheer for the event.

Right after the carolling, gifts were given to the children, and
immediately after, families received a bag full of goods such as 5kg
rice, a bottle of oil, biscuits, baked beans and a copy of end time
book were given as a Christmas gift to the handicapped, elderly,
Myanmar refugees and poor families alike.

Around 90 people gathered in the centre, 40 families received the
bag of goods and 50 children received gifts.
A week before the Christmas celebration, ACC choir team conducted a
series of house-to-house carolling in order to raise fund for this
big event. Together the team was able to raise close to RM3,000
which was enough to fund this project. |

It was a day of rejoicing & sharing the Christmas message of love
with the community, praise God! |
