Tips on How to
Experience Positive Thinking

Laughter is a powerful medicine. According to
study, some benefits of a good-belly-laughter:
- Exercises your lungs.
- Stimulates circulatory system.
- Increases oxygen intake into lungs and blood.
- Produces endorphins which helps soothes the
mind, relieves pain, elevates the mood, and
increases the activity of the immune cells.

Of course it is hard to laugh when things around us
look gloomy; but what most people do not know is that
being positive equals’ faith in God. According to my
favorite Bible author by the name of Paul, being happy
is found in knowing that “all things will work
together for good to them that love God.”
The following are some practical ways in order for
us to develop optimism:
- Take a stock with your positive and negative
thinking pattern and determine the origin. Keep a
journal.
- Take a walk and find beauty in nature
- Give yourself a treat once in a while
- Surround yourself with “positive” people
- Observe children and once in a while join them!
- Take responsibility (i.e. in church, at work, in
the community)
- Be conscious of procrastination
- Don’t be scared to have a good belly laugh!
- Develop a deeper relationship with God.

Just like Paul, I have learned to be “content with
whatever I have; I know how to live with almost
nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret
of living, in every situation, with plenty or with
little; for I can do everything through God who gives
me strength.”
