Welcome to “My
Health Space!”
It
is my privilege to be able to share with you my own
journey towards positive healthy lifestyle through
this space. In here you will find bits and pieces of
personal accounts, experiences, and sometimes
intelligent articles regarding health, through
observations, critical analysis, readings and
research.
I know that all of us want to live without
sickness, to have healthy legs, strong sense of smell,
sharp eyes, quick minds, among other things. As much
as possible we don’t want to worry whether we would
wake up one day and find out that we have cancer,
worry about aging and counting the wrinkles on our
face, or worry about the sagging flesh on our arms and
thighs and the increasing fat around our belly.
Desiring good health is good but the journey towards
it, to some, is sometimes a herculean task.
According to WHO, wellness is more than health or
the absence of disease; it is about a myriad of things
like being mentally fit, physically robust,
spiritually vital and socially comfortable. According
to Des Cummings, author of the book “Creation Health;”
Wellness is about being able to face accidents, aging
and illness with a positive outlook. Most of all,
trusting that a loving God has a better idea for
living, and that He is eager to help us experience
full life, both now and beyond.
